Samantha plays the character Anasuya Ramalingam, daugher of a rich father who lives in complete urban lifestyle.On the other hand, Nithin aka Anand VIhari is a village guy.Both the lead characters meet each other in a train journey and happens to fall in love.On the flip side, Nithin’s family locks his wedding with Anupama Parameshwaran.Initially, Nithin doesn’t want to get married to her but a twist in the story forces him to get ready for marriage with Anupama.
