Nandi Awards are finally back.The highest award ceremony for excellence in Telugu cinema has been discontinued since 2012 as there were no favorable conditions to organize the award function.
Telangana Agitation had taken a serious turn and Nandi Awards weren’t given for a long space of time.
Good news is that, Nandi Awards will be organized this year.
Telangana government has taken the initiative to keep the highest award ceremony back on track.In other news, the government is also looking forward to permit the 5th show in a day in order to boost up the business level for small films.
“Telangana Government would institute awards for Telugu Films on the lines of Nandi Awards by Ugadi, 2016.Telangana Government even contemplating to permit a fifth show in the theatres to encourage the Small Budget Telugu Films ” Telangana state IT, Muncipal and Panchayat Raj minister KTR has made an announcement.
