San Francisco, Sep 2 : Following an leak which revealed the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family branding in the past the tech giant Microsoft has announced its new plans and revealed the prices for a select number of markets.According to The Verge The Verge, this new service will permit Xbox Game Pass members to share with up to four additional family members or friends at 21.99 euros ($21.99) per month in Ireland and 49,900 Colombian pesos ($11.25) in Colombia.
Microsoft is testing the brand new Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family plan in Ireland and Colombia according to the report.
“Currently we are piloting this strategy in Colombia and in the Republic of Ireland.Other countries and regions could be added in the coming weeks,” the tech giant was quoted as saying.
Microsoft hasn’t yet revealed prices for the remainder of Europe or the UK and the US yet however, it is expected to be in the range of $22 per month to Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family in the US according to the report.
The tech giant isn’t restricting the new Game Pass plan to only family members.
The only requirement to add individuals to the Friends and Family plan is that they live in the same location.
Microsoft currently has a cost of $9.99 per month for Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.
Online multiplayer is not included with the membership, however for $14.99 gamers are able to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives them access Game Pass for consoles, PCs, EA Play, and online multiplayer with Xbox Live Gold, the report stated.
