Kiev 1st, September : Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the top officers of the army as well as the secret service and the police twice in just a few days.Zelensky told reporters on Wednesday evening in Kiev that the army had reported changes at the front.
He would not provide specifics, the news agency dpa reported.
“I’ll only make one statement: I’d like to express my gratitude, in the name of our intelligence, all the people who support us in a strong way in the southern part of the country, and especially in Crimea,” he added.
The intelligence agency is grateful for the information and would like to make use of them to the fullest extent, he said in his evening video address.
In the early months of Russia’s conflict, the President hardly spoke of the meetings with the military’s top leadership.
He reported lastly of such an encounter on Sunday, following which the tensions grew Ukrainian attacks started in the Russian-controlled Kherson region in the south on Monday.
