Chandigarh 27 August : The reason behind the killing of Haryana BJP leader Sonali Phogat, who died under mysterious circumstances in Goa may be money or property the brother of the victim Rinku Dhaka claimed on Saturday.However, he said that his family was “satisfied” with the police investigation into her death in Goa.
“After I arrived in Goa on the 23rd of August I contacted Sudhir to inquire about what had transpired.He informed me that he was in the hotel room, and the body was in the Goa Medical College,” Dhaka told the media.
“If you’d like to visit the body, go there , and If you are working with me, I’ll meet you in the hotel.After viewing the body I went to the police station, following which the Inspector Desai took me to the hotel in which Sudhir was staying.The inspector was the one who did all of the conversation with Sudhir.”
The actress was driven to Goa under the pretense of filming.”I did not observe any film or actor.There was no one other from Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir.”
Dhaka was unambiguously clear in declaring the motive for the crime could be related to property and money.He was even able to blame Sudhir for the robbery in Sonali’s home.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said If BJP leader Phogat’s family requests an CBI investigation into her death the request will be considered.”If the family members provide in the form of a letter that they want to investigate, we will consider taking the matter further,” Khattar has said.
Phogat who was in controversy after being accused of kicking an official with her slipper unsuccessfully run for the 2019 Assembly elections from Mandi Adampur, losing to Congress candidate Kuldeep Bishnoi, the son of the former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal.
Bishnoi has joined this month Bishnoi this month joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with his wife, Renuka, who was also in the Congress.
The Goa police have arrested four people in the connection with the murder of her.
On the weekend, a drug dealer and an owner of a restaurant were detained.
“Drug trader Dattaprasad Gaonkar and restaurant owner Edwin Nunes were arrested today,” Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi told IANS.
Police sources said that Gaonkar, who was alleged to have supplied drugs to the suspects arrested earlier, was taken into custody on Saturday morning to be interrogated.
In the following days, he and Edwin Nunes the owner of Curlies restaurant in Anjuna where Sonali Phogat was seen partying prior to her death, were also detained.
A Goa court in Goa has granted the police custody for a period of 10 days of Sudhir Sangwan (PA of Phogat) and Sukhwinder Singh, two accused persons who were earlier detained in the case of murder.
