San Francisco, Aug 19 : Apple’s tech giant has announced that its 2022 MacBook Pros could come with the latest M2 Pro and Max chipsets created with the latest 3nm manufacturing process media reports suggest.
According to Commercial Times, TSMC, the world’s biggest producer of semiconductors, is constantly expanding its 3nm manufacturing processes.

The report reveals that Apple will be using 3nm wafers for the very first time in the second quarter of 2022, possibly in its M2 Pro chipsets, citing media reports, AppleInsider reported.

Future releases based on the 3nm process may include the A17 chip for iPhone and the possibility of a third-generation of the M series.

Commercial Times also reported that TSMC will begin mass production of its 3nm wafers in September.

The report further stated that the initial yield would be higher than the time TSMC changed to 5nm process.

In comparison to the previous processes for chipmaking that used the 3nm process can improve performance and power efficiency.Apple’s devices.

According to reports, Apple will utilize the M2 Pro chipas well as perhaps an M2 Max -in the future in the 14-inch MacBook Pro, 16-inch MacBook Pro as well as Mac mini models later in 2022 or early 2023.
