Masks are not worn in crowds,” Suryvanshi said.

He stated that the pandemic hasn’t been cured like in other states.and cases remain on the rise.

“We ask the public to remember Covid proper behavior.Masks are worn in public transportation and other places,” he appealed.

“Here the situation is not zero.

The situation is under control, however, we are not satisfied with the situation, because COVID-approved behavior is not being observed. There is no rush to get vaccinations.

While deaths are very low however, we shouldn’t be uninformed,” Borkar said.

He stated that Goa was one of three states where the first and second doses for those over 18 were covered at a rate of more than 100 percent.

“But for the precautionary dose, we got less reaction. We could end up in trouble if the amount of precautionary doses don’t rise.

I ask everyone to take a shot of the precautionary dose.It is for free of price,” he said.

He stated that 52 percent of people older than 60 years old have taken the precautionary dose. However, the age range of 18 and 59 is 5 per cent.

He stated that a study conducted by the Health Department observed that people have a variety of reasons not to get vaccinated.

“People say they’ve taken two doses, and do not require a precautionary dose,” he said.
