Warwickshire have signed the pacer Mohammed Siraj for the last three games of County Championship

Birmingham 18 August : English County side Warwickshire on Thursday announced that it has signed India right-arm pacer Mohammed Siraj for its last three matches of the current County Championship.Siraj arrives at Edgbaston prior to the start of Warwickshire’s home fixture against Somerset on September 12.
Siraj took 466 runs in the opening innings of the fifth and final rescheduled test between England and India at Edgbaston in July.He picked six wickets in the three-match ODI series against England later in the month.

At present, Siraj is with the India ODI side for a three-match series against Zimbabwe from 18 to 22 August.

He is the sixth Indian player to sign to play in the English domestic cricket season in 2022, following Cheteshwar Pujara (Sussex), Washington Sundar (Lancashire), Krunal Pandya (50-over matches for Warwickshire), Umesh Yadav (Middlesex) and Navdeep Saini (Kent).

Siraj 28, 28, is most well-known for his skill in swinging the ball in two different ways.As of the moment, has taken 40 wickets in 13 Tests, at an average of 30.77.As a first-class player, Siraj has taken 194 wickets in 52 matches, with an average of 24.90.
