Lahore 17 Aug : As part of the Future Tours Programme (FTP) for the 2023-27 period, announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Pakistan are scheduled to play for around 238 days of international cricket over the four-year period , which includes 27 WTC matches (13 home and 14 away) 47 ODIs (26 home and 21 at home) as well as 56 T20Is (27 home and 29 away).The tournament also includes Pakistan hosting the 50-over 2023 Asia Cup, in the preceding of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2023 as well as 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
The amount of matches could increase based on the place Pakistan is in the ICC and ACC events between 2023 and 2027 and in the 2025-2026 ODI tri-series.

“Additionally, Afghanistan, Australia, Ireland and Zimbabwe will also be touring Pakistan for white-ball cricket matches.
This means that that 10 of the 12 ICC Full Members will be playing cricket in Pakistan during the four-year period.This is thrilling!” said PCB Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain.
In a fascinating new development, the ODI tri-series is returning on the Pakistan calendar for the first time in the 2004-05 season.New Zealand and South Africa will join Pakistan in the tri-series in 2025.
It will be played in the lead-up to the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy tentatively scheduled for February.England as well as Sri Lanka will participate in the tri-series in the period between October and November 2026.
“We are also conscious that our teams need to receive with the best training opportunities to be able to compete effectively in ICC events.This has been a key aspect of our strategy for scheduling, since we have planned appropriate international games in the weeks leading towards the ICC competitions.”
“Furthermore and in accordance with our goal of establishing triangular ODI series that will aid in the excitement of fans and attracting larger audiences We have set up two tri-series in February 2025 and October/November 2026.which will feature New Zealand and South Africa and England and Sri Lanka, respectively.
