New Delhi, Aug 15 : In an eerie case of extreme humiliation and brutality in the capital city of India, a 43-year-old domestic worker has claimed that she was confined in the room and stripped naked in the wake of allegations of taking gold ornaments. The housekeeper, in a complaint to the Delhi Police on August 10 the 10th of August, stated that she was employed in a house in South Delhi for the last two years, and that her husband was employed as security guard.
“Around 10 months ago, the house’s gold ornaments vanished and she believed that the servants of taking the ornaments.On August 9 , about 3 pm, she called some occultist to the home to track down the culprit.
The occultist pleaded with all household staff to keep limestone powder and rice in their mouths and whoever’s rice becomes red, is the thief,” the victim woman’s complaint to the Delhi Police, accessed by IANS and read.
She added that the two things made her mouth red in her mouth, and the owner of the house as well as her mother pulled her out and put her in the room after they tied her feet and hands.
“They demanded my confession for hours, and then left me in the same condition with my feet and hands tied.The next morning , at about 8 am four people – house mistress Gurlez as well as the owner their mother and sister-in law -came into the room and stripped me naked, and then slashed me with sandals and a “belan,”” the FIR filed by the woman was read.
In an attempt to escape the snare the victim woman confessed she had confessed to the crime.she admitted to stealing ornaments and claimed that she had kept the stolen materials in her home in the village, after which the owners of the house sent her husband to return the ornaments.
“Later I informed them that I would like to use the bathroom, and they gave me back my clothes and brought me back to my bedroom to search for other things.While searching I discovered rats’ poison and kept it with myself.
After experiencing this humiliation, it was my decision to put my life on hold.I consumed the poison.” the woman who was victimized told the reporter.
The woman also claimed that after she consumed the poison, she started having stomach pain, but the owners put her on the ground.
As her condition continued to deteriorate the other domestic helper drove her to the Cronus Hospital.
In confirming the incident In confirming the incident, the Deputy of Police (south) of Police (south) Benita Mary Jaiker confirmed that the police got the information about the female patient at Cronus Hospital following she was admitted to the hospital.
“The police rushed to the hospital in Chhatarpur and discovered the patient being treated by doctors.At first, she was declared unfit for a statement,” the DCP said.
The woman’s testimony was recorded, in which she disclosed the horrific specifics of the brutality.
On the basis of her complaint the police have filed an FIR in accordance with Sections 341 and 330 323 341 506, 34 and 330 of the Indian Penal Code.
DCP Jaiker told the DCP Jaiker that Monday police made the initial arrest in the case.
“One of the accused, specifically Seema Khatoon (28) is taken into custody,” the officer said and said that efforts are in place to find the other suspects in the investigation.
