New Delhi, Aug 15 : Addressing the nation for the ninth time from the historical ramparts of Red Fort on the anniversary of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a change in the attitude’ towards women. PM Modi declared that reverence for women is a crucial element of India’s development and emphasized the need to provide support to “Nari Shakti and appealed to change the mindset towards women in every day life.
“I have a request for each Indian.We need to change the attitude toward our women in daily life.
The pride of Nari Shakti plays a crucial role in realizing the goals of India.The respect for women is a crucial factor in the growth of India.
We must support our Nari Shakti” PM Modi said.PM Modi.
He also said “A discord has been sown in our conduct , and we sometimes make fun of women.We should make a commitment to rid ourselves of this in our conduct.” PM Modi asked the people to make an oath to get rid of all things that make women feel humiliated.women in every day life.
“It is essential to ensure that in our conduct and speech we don’t do anything that diminishes the worthiness of women” said PM Modi in his speech.
Modi declared, “The more opportunities we provide to women and our daughters and our daughters, the more we benefit from their contributions.”
In a speech praising the women of the nation for being in the top in diverse fields from the military to sports PM Modi declared, “In the coming 25 years, I am expecting an immense role of women.women of this country.
I encourage everyone to ensure that we continue to promote the development of women”.
“Be it science or education, women of the country are at the top.Be it on the battlefield or in sports the Indian women are taking on the world with new capabilities and confidence.I am expecting a tremendous contribution from women in the next 25 years from now, far greater than in the 75 years of journey.
