Mumbai 14 Aug : Amit Sial, who is preparing for the second season of the popular political drama ‘Maharani’ has stated that he does not evaluate his character’s actions or opinions because, if he starts doing that, he wouldn’t be able to be a true representative of the characters.The actor who is Navin Kumar who is the rival politician of Bheema and the husband of “Maharani,” stated: “Over a period of time, I’ve tried to keep my own personal thoughts and my life as far as I can from the characters I play.”
In a warm-up to the theme Sial stated: “As an actor I don’t have the privilege of making judgments about my characters, it’s the discretion of the audience.It’s their responsibility to evaluate my characters, whether they like them or not.My role as an actor is to portray the characters with the utmost integrity and that’s what I strive to accomplish.”
The actor was previously seen in “Inside Edge” “Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega’ and “Mirzapur”.
Sial who holds an advanced diploma in International Business from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, once was the owner of a restaurant in the east of Delhi.
In his reflections on his own life he declared: “I tried my hand at a variety of careers, but nothing was satisfying or made me smile more than the work of acting.I was forced to return to it.
“Meanwhile I picked up the takeaway and thought “agar paise nahi agar kamaaye toh mil jaayega’ (if I don’t make money, I’ll at least consume food from takeaway).”
Season 2 of “Maharani,” which also features Huma Qureshi as well as Sohum Shah, is scheduled to be available on SonyLIV on August 25.
