Four others arrested in connection with an attempts to murder TRS MLA

Hyderabad 10 August : Hyderabad police have arrested four additional people on suspicion of plotting to kill an elected official of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
The four allegedly assisted principal accused Paddagani PrasadGoud execute his plan to murder A.Jeevan Reddy, the member of the Telangana Assembly from Armoor constituency in Nizamabad district.

The Deputy Chief of Police Joel Davis on Wednesday announced the arrest of four suspects of being Santosh, Sugnuna, Surender and Sagar.

Another suspect, Munna Kumar, of Bihar is still missing.

Goud Goud TRS leader, and the spouse of a suspended Sarpanch of an area, was detained by police on the 8th of August.

The police also confiscated guns made in the country as well as an air pistol and the button knife he had taken from Goud.

He was at the residence of the MLA in Banjara Hills and pointed at him with a gun as he was getting ready for dinner.

When he saw the suspect, Jeevan Reddy shouted to warn his staff, and the suspect fled from the house.

According to the police, Goud bore grudge against the Armoor MLA because he believed that he was the cause of the being the cause of the suspension of his wife Lavanya as Sarpanch of Kalladi village in Makloor mandal (block) and for not releasing the Rs 20 lakh towards the outstanding bill of the development work being carried out in the village.

In the hope of causing harm to the MLA Goud bought the knife in Maharashtra’s Nanded and an air pistols from Hyderabad’s Nampally and a made in the country gun made in Bihar.

He was in contact with Suguna who in the process, introduced him Surender via phone.

The investigation by the police revealed that Suguna advised him that a gun was on sale with Munna Kumar of Bihar for the sum of Rs 60,000.Goud paid the money to Suguna who then transferred the money to Munna Kumar.

On the 15th of July, Surender was able to meet Goud in Bheemgal village in Nizamabad and gave him the country-made pistol.

The DCP stated that Munna Kumar was in hiding.

Police plan to place Goud in the custody of police for interrogation to gather more details about the plot to murder and the involvement of other suspects.
