The issue was raised in the current meeting, he stated that the government plays games in the name of Special Investigating Team (SIT) and that no action has been taken , and no one has been punished.

“So far the government has spoken about investigations in several cases including illegal liquor and mining, however not a report of investigation has been released.

In the federal government, SIT does not mean “Special Investigation Team,” but rather ‘Sitting Investigative on Table”,” he said.

In the ongoing discussion regarding mining that is illegal, Hooda said he himself had visited the area following the incident in Dadam (in Bhiwani) on January 1.

“It was clear that the mafia was carrying out illegal mining trepidation.Five miners were killed in this tragedy.

The government had promised that an investigation would be conducted by an SIT however, after a long time has gone by and the investigation report has not been released until date. This clearly demonstrates the intent of the government.” he said.

Hooda said that the state has been hit by a number of frauds, ranging from Amrit Yojana to government jobs leaks of paper, electricity purchase of meters, paddy purchase millet purchase, road registry, kilometer scheme liquor and the sand of Yamuna to the illegal mining of Aravalli Hills.

He claimed that the government’s investigation did not come to a conclusion in any of the cases.

Responding to a call-to-attention motion by lawmakers on the second day of the monsoon session the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the mining revenues have been around Rs 4,660 crore between 2015-16 until 2021-22.

“Whereas during the time of the previous administration from 2005 until 2014, only Rs .1,268 crore was collected i.e.revenue of 130 crore annually. However, approximately Rs 600 crore a year is earned during the current administration.”

The Chief Minister was responding to the discussion on stopping illegal mining following the death of a police officer was killed by dumper trucks of the mining mafia in Nuh.

He stated that illegal mining had been banned in the time of the current government, as is evident from the income that the government receives.

He stated that when a subject is debated in the Vidhan Sabha and the discussion is based on democratic principles, the term of the current and previous governments is compared with the actuality of the present situation.

“This comparison is essential because it reveals whether the situation was worse during the time of the previous administration or if it is now.”

The Chief Minister said that suggestions made by MLAs in the House to assist in cracking down on the mafia of mining would be taken into consideration. He stated that cracking off illegal miners is constant process.

Discussing the investigation in the murder of an officer of the police Surender Singh in Nuh by the mining mafia, he said 11 people have been detained.

People who were hiding in Rajasthan were also taken into custody.

“All are in the custody of the judicial system.Ten FIRs were filed. No one will be spared.”
