Hyderabad/Amaravati, Aug 8 : Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy have on Monday celebrated ace shuttle P.V.Sindhu on winning the gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. Chief Minister KCR met with Sindhu and expressed his greetings.
Jagan Mohan Reddy felicitated Sindhu on winning gold.
The Telugu badminton champion beat Michelle Li (Canada) in straight sets in the women’s finals.
Jagan Mohan Reddy felicitated Kidambi Srikanth on bagging bronze in the men’s section.
In describing their performance as a source of inspiration to young people, he also congratulated the Indian contingent for placing India in an area of pride in medals.
