Bengaluru 6 August : Xiaomi India on Saturday announced the fourth edition of “Mi Summit” with the goal of providing B-School students with the opportunity to experience hands-on learning with real-world business cases and problem statements.
The winners will receive cash prizes of Rs 2 lakhs and then one lakh rupees for the team that finished runners-up as well as preliminary interviews for both.

“At Xiaomi India, we have always been focused on giving opportunities to young people which empower them and aid in creating a brighter and more fulfilling tomorrow,” Muralikrishnan B, the president of Xiaomi India said in an announcement.

“Mi Summit program was created with the goal of helping the bright and young minds of India to pursue their passion and comprehend how the business world of business operates,” Muralikrishnan added.

For the fourth edition students from 27 business schools can form teams of two students from the first or second year, and then submit their entries.

The company stated that teams would have to provide solutions to the issue and demonstrate its utility and use in the real-world business environment.

It is organized in five phases, the program starts with an initial screening test which is then a pre-campus campus, and a cluster round, culminating in the final event in the Xiaomi headquarters in Bengaluru.

All winners of the campus round will be given an Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) offer from the country’s most popular smartphone manufacturer and stand an opportunity to win prizes that can reach 6 lakhs with Xiaomi India.

The teams with the highest scores from each school will be divided into six clusters, and the two top teams of each cluster will be chosen for the final presentation.

Xiaomi India said that among participants from 27 business schools this year wild card entries made by schools not participating are also accepted.

The winners of the cluster and runners-up will receive prizes of a Mi Soundbar and Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones and an PPI offer and students who win on campus stand an opportunity to win PPI offers.

Mi Summit was launched in the year 2019, more than 7,000 students have been involved in Mi Summit.

For the third edition of the event, Xiaomi India reached out to 25 business schools, and saw the participation of more than 3000 students.
