Noida 5 Aug : Noida, Aug 5 : Noida police has taken note of an incident in which an Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was found to be abusing one woman during a dispute over the placement of plants in the society. “We have taken note of the incident and police are currently at the scene.
We will soon release the information,” a Noida police official said to IANS.
Many video clips of the incident became viral via social media in which BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi is heard yelling abuse at the woman.
Social users on social media also shared the post of the victim in which she described the whole incident.
“I reside in Grand Omaxe.
A man named Shrikant Tyagi, residing on the ground floor, was invading the space by putting in large and small plant species in the common space.When I told him to get rid of the plants, he refused and when I tried to get them removed, he hurled abuses at me, my husband and my children,” the woman said.
The same clip shows residents of the community could be heard accusing Tyagi of expanding in the area with the planting of large and small-sized plants.
According to one of the videos of the incident, which was viewed through IANS, Tyagi can be seen pushing and threaten the woman.”Don’t you touch my plants or I’ll be watching you .,” he can be heard saying in the video.
