While welcoming the amendments in the All-India Service Rules, AP CM Jagan made key proposals to the Center.The CM wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi congratulating him on the amendments in the All-India Service Rules.
Effective officials will come with the decision taken by the centre.He said the states would be better off if there were effective officials in the central government.
However, in a letter to the Prime Minister, Jagan mentioned that there was a possibility of problems with some amendments in the All-India Service Rules.
CM Jagan said that there was no problem in sending officers on service on deputation, but if the Center took up the matter on deputation immediately, there would be difficulties for the projects undertaken by that officer in the state.
He said that the responsibility of key projects would be handed over to competent officers and problems would arise if such an officer was suddenly taken on deputation.The Chief Minister pointed out that the immediate transfers would have an impact on the education of the family and children of the officers.
CM Jagan appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to continue the practice followed by the states in sending All India Service officers on deputation.They asked that the decision on whom to send be left to the states.
Jagan urged the Prime Minister to continue the practice of taking officers only after the states have given the NOC.
