The AP government will launch the Jagananna Smart Townships today to be owned by middle class people.CM YS Jagan will formally launch the website during the Sankranthi festival.
The application process for the respective plots will start from today.Chief Minister YS Jagan will formally launch the first phase of Jagananna Smart Townships.
They are crafting these lay-outs in urban areas to make middle class dream of owning a house come true.
In the first phase, plots will be allotted in Dharmavaram, Mangalagiri, Rayachoti, Kandukur, Kavali and Eluru.
The middle class is allotted places without litigation at affordable prices.Those with an annual income of less than Rs 18 lakh are eligible to apply.
Applications will be accepted from tomorrow and allotment of plots will be done through computerized lottery.Relevant plots are facilitated to be paid in four installments within a year.
The government is also offering a 5 per cent discount on lump sum payments.
Lay outs are made everywhere according to the rules of the town planning department.Of these, 10 per cent reservation and 20 per cent rebate will be provided to government employees.150, 200, 240 square yards plots depending on the needs of the family.50% of the space in these lay outs is allocated for social needs.Wide 60-foot BT roads, 40-foot cc roads as well as footpaths with coloured tiles.There will also be Avenue Plantation.In addition to underground drainage, there is also flood water drainage.There will be parks, playgrounds, social buildings, a health centre, a commercial complex, and places for banks.The corpus fund for the management of layouts is set up and managed jointly by the Plot Owners Association and the Urban Development Authority.
