Mumbai, January 1, 2018 : .Ankit Anil Sharma from ‘Gulaab Gang’ is very excited to be seen with Sanjay Mishra on the big screen in the Oscar-winning film ‘Turtle. “Turtle” is inspired from a true story that highlights the problem of water shortage.Ankit plays the role Sanjay Mishra’s son and tries to live up to his father’s dreams.
Ankit spoke out about his part in the film, saying that it was a moving, inspirational, and compelling story.It deals with the root problem of water shortages in Rajasthani villages.Hari is my role.His father has a plan that he wants to carry out to build a borewell in order to alleviate the shortage of water in his village.
He tried his best but was unable to overcome the circumstance.
Ankit was the antagonist in Madhuri dixit’s and Juhichawla’s ‘Gulaab Gang,’ as well as appearing on a few episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Ankit said that Sanjay Mishra was his lucky person when he shared screen space.I’d previously worked with Madhuri ji or Juhi ji.Now I get to share screen space with Sanjay ji.His acting skills are exceptional and he is a flawless actor.”
Further, he said that despite working with him, it was not like working with an actor who has won an Oscar.He felt more like a friend from an acting school.It was an amazing experience.Working with Sanjay Ji, I learned a lot.
“Turtle” won the National Film Award in Best Rajasthani Film at the 66th National Film Awards.It was then released by ZEE5.
