Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana is touring the AP for three days.Recently, he participated in the honours function held at Siddhartha College.
Speaking on this occasion, Justice NV Ramana rode back to his childhood in the Krishna district.He recalled his memories with Vijayawada and Krishna district.
In his own words, “To the people of Vijayawada, to the dynamic people here, you know Vijayawada.Nowadays, people are calling Vijayawada as Blaze Wada.
Why the temperature has risen in Vijayawada? Vijayawada is a very dynamic region.It was once the birthplace of extremist, moderate and numerous political ideologies.I think it’s a wonderful city until 1983 when I started to practice.”
“Later, I moved to Hyderabad and worked as a junior lawyer for Ayyappa Reddy.At that time, I had to leave for Hyderabad leaving Vijayawada.It was very difficult for me to leave Vijayawada and go to Hyderabad.
I used to come to Vijayawada every Friday evening and stay in Vijayawada every Saturday and Sunday.There was a pleasant prosperous atmosphere in Vijayawada at that time.
I regret to say that the current days are not as great as I expected it to be in those days,” said Chief Justice NV Ramana.
