New Delhi : , Dec 25, 2005 – The Punjab Police claimed that they cracked the Ludhiana bomb blast case.They identified Gagandeep Singh (31) as the victim and said that he had connections to pro-Khalistan Pakistani elements. One person was killed and six other people were injured when a high-intensity explosion took place in the public toilet of Ludhiana’s district court compound.According to police, Singh was responsible for the explosion.
Singh was a former chief constable of Punjab Police and was fired in August 2019.Heroin was found in his possession.
Singh had apparently strapped the bomb to his stomach so that he could give slips to security officers.
He secured the IED to his stomach to avoid detection.
It was almost impossible for him to get into the courthouse without it.He was able take the bomb inside by strapping it around his stomach,” said a trusted source.
Singh reportedly also conducted a recee at the court complex in order to implement his plan.
According to the Punjab Police, ISI helped a German-based terrorist Khalistani group that was responsible for carrying out the attack.
Police in Punjab also found that Khalistani operatives were working alongside the Pakistani drug mafia, narcotics dealers and arms dealers.
This is the first instance of durg dealers with international connections working with Khalistani agents and ISI agents to inflict terror on the country, particularly in Punjab.
According to a top source in police, they are trying to establish an anarchy like situation in Punjab.
ISI helps Khalistani militants spread their hate for India.
ISI was also mentioned in the Ludhiana bombing.Singh was reportedly connected to Khalistani operatives working for ISI.Singh made contact with ISI and Khalistani operatives while he was being held in Ludhiana prison in relation to the NDPS charge against him for having heroin possession.
