Release of ‘Muddy’, India’s first multilingual ‘offroader’ film on Friday

Kochi, Dec 8, 2008 : .”Muddy” will be released in six languages and on 1,500 screens across the country and internationally on Friday.
It will be available in six languages, including Malayalam Tamil, Telugu Kannada, Hindi, and English.

Pragabhal, director of the film, stated that the theme of the film was the mud race because he wanted to give an experience unlike any other.

The director stated that choreography design for Muddy was the most difficult because there were no other films to reference.Therefore, it took five years to create the film.

He continued by saying that the screenplay was written to give importance to the characters.

“After the screenplay was completed, it was decided that new faces would be needed.

They were then given two years of mud racing training.Pragabhal said that national-level mud racers from real life were also part of the film.

Cinematographer K.G.K.G.Rathish stated that Muddy was a difficult challenge.

“It was difficult to shoot on location for more that three hours, but it was a great experience.

In India, there have been many films in various languages that were released in sports and other segments.India is the first country to release a full-time 4X4 race film.

Rathish said that this film is also the first to be released in six languages, including English.

This is Ravi Basur’s first Malayalam film as the music director for ‘KGF’.

Basur stated that south Indian films can be divided into four parts.

“Now, I am trying to bring together all the south Indian movies as one and treat them as Indian films through large canvas.

Background music is not allowed in films that place more emphasis on dialogues.As a technician, Muddy gave me more room to work on the film.

Basur said that Basur and the cinematographer have shown their skills and that I have only supported the visuals.

Prema Krishnadas will produce the film under the banner PK7

Yuvan Krishna, Ridhaan Kshma, Anusha Sooraj, and Amith Sivadas Naair are the principal roles.Harish Peradi, I.M.Vijayan, Ranji Panicker, Sunil Sugatha, Shobha Mohan and Guinness Manoj.
