Washington, Dec 5, : According to Johns Hopkins University, the global coronavirus cases have surpassed 265.36 millions.The deaths have risen to more than 5.24million and vaccination has reached over 8.15 billion. The University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), updated its status on Sunday morning.It revealed that the current global death toll and caseload stood at 265,365.952 and 5,248,572.The total number of vaccine doses was 8,150 856,694.
According to the CSSE, the USA continues to be the country most affected by the greatest number of deaths and cases, with 49,051,140 and 788.202 respectively.
India is the second-most affected country in terms of cases (34,624,360 infection and 470,530 death), followed by Brazil (22,138,247 infection and 615,570 death).
The CSSE figures revealed that the UK (10,479.955), Russia (9.598,283) and Turkey (8,883,730) are the worst countries with more than 5 million cases.
Mexico (294,904) and Russia (274,648) are the nations with a death rate of more than 100,000.Peru (201,326) is the UK (146,000.001), Indonesia (134.152), Iran (130.124), Colombia (128,733) France (120.440), and Argentina (116.643) are other countries.
