Dhaka, Nov 30, : Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh’s all-rounder, was declared fit on Tuesday and will be returning to Bangladesh’s Test squad for their second and final Test against Pakistan starting December 4.Shakib failed to fully recover from his hamstring injury before the Chattogram Test, which Bangladesh lost by eight wickets to Pakistan.
Except for the first Test, Shakib missed the T20I series against Pakistan as well as the final two matches of the T20 World Cup.
Taskin Ahmed, a fast bowler who had injured his finger on November 22 against Pakistan and didn’t play in the first Test, has also returned to the side.
According to an Espncricinfo report, Mohammad Naim (the T20 specialist) makes his debut in the Test squad.
With the additions, it is now a 20-man squad for Dhaka Test.
No one was dropped from the side that was named for the opening match.
Squad for the second Test: Mominul Haque, Shadman Islam and Saif Hassan.
