Counselors requested the court’s direction to remove the illegal, immoral and obscene content from the page and to restore it.They also asked for a police investigation into the matter.

The petitioner claimed that she is a prominent Bhojpuri actress who also appears in various television shows. She was also awarded the Rashtriya Gaurav award.

In 2012, she created her Facebook page and account.Since then, it has attracted more than 40 million followers.

However, the page was hacked on October 19, and she received an email stating that she had been removed from the Neha Shree Facebook Page administrator position.

The mail was delivered to her within minutes.

A complaint was made to Facebook about the hacking. She received only “auto-generated” or “pre-typed messages, and nothing was done to restore access.

Despite complaints from different Facebook offices in the city, the issue has not been resolved even after 30 days of hacking.

The petitioner stated that the petitioner’s image, which she had worked hard to create in the past 10 years, has been negatively affected by the posting of the obscenities on the hacked page.

She has been receiving emails from family, friends, fans, and followers about the inappropriate content posted to her Facebook account.

Although the petitioner tried to explain to them that the account was attacked by the hacker, it was difficult for her reach out to her 40 million followers, among whom the reputation and goodwill of the petitioner has suffered.
