Mumbai, Nov 30, : Abhishek Kapoor, a filmmaker, has heaped praises upon his ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui star Ayushmann Karrana and said that he has bridged the gap between conventional cinema and parallel cinema. Abhishek stated: “We’ve been led into believing that there’s conventional cinema and then there is parallel cinema.But thanks to actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, that gap is being bridging gracefully, giving rise a new wave in content-pole cinema.”

Abhishek explains to you how Ayushmann fits in the role of a Chandigarh gym trainer in the film.
“I believe that creating compelling characters in a film is the most important thing you can do as a filmmaker.Manu’s character was a familiar one to me for more than two years before the film was released.But Ayushmann made it his own quickly and walked in like a breeze.He was a natural fit for the role and added his own unique nuances to it.”
The director and the Bollywood star struck it off “brilliantly” as they share the same goal of presenting “brilliant, disruptive” content to audiences around the world.
Abhishek stated that he and I instantly connected because we share the same passion for presenting something new and fresh for audiences to enjoy.
