Srinagar : , Tuesday, November 30 : , The cold wave continued in Kashmir and Ladakh as the minimum temperature fell below freezing point on Tuesday. Meteorological Department (MeT), an official, stated that the minimum temperature in the Valley was below freezing as the cold wave continued unabated.
“Minimum temperature was minus 1.5 at Srinagar, minus 3.0 in Pahalgam, and minus 1.75 in Gulmarg.
“Drass town in Ladakh had minus 11.4, Leh was minus 9.7, and Kargil was minus 7.4 as the minimum.
Officials from the MeT department stated that Jammu city had 9.0, Katra 9.8, Batote 9.8, Banihal 0.6, Bhaderwah 2.5 as the minimum temperatures.
Weather is expected to remain dry and cold until December 5, after which rain/snow is forecast in J&K, Ladakh, and December 7.
