AP CM Jagan to release Rs 686 cr today under ‘Jagananna Vidhya Deevena’

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan will today (November 30) release the ‘Jagannanna Vidya Divena’ funds directly into the bank accounts of student mothers’ at the CM YS Jagan camp office.

In the third instalment of the ‘Jaganna Vidhya Deevena’ scheme, today, CM Jagan will credit Rs 686 crore to benefit 11.03 lakh students.Rs 686 crore will be credited directly to their mothers’ bank accounts.

Full Fee Reimbursement for all eligible poor students.

The Andhra Pradesh state government will deposit the full amount of fees to be paid to colleges by poor students pursuing ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, Engineering and Medicine courses in the accounts of the mothers of the students quarterly.

However, the fourth instalment of the ‘Jagananna Vidhya Deevena’ will be deposited in February 2022.The expenditure incurred by the Andhra Pradesh state government so far on the welfare schemes introduced in the field of education is Rs.34,622.17 crores, while the total beneficiaries are 1,99,38,694.The total amount paid so far is Rs 1,778 crore, including Rs 1,778 crore owed by the previous government.

The first instalment was released on 19 April 2021, and the second instalment was released on 29 July 2021.

Now, the third instalment was credited into the bank accounts of the mothers of the students.
