Bijnor, Nov 30, : .A week after the murder in Dharmuwala village, Badhapur police circle, a victim’s son was arrested and two accomplices were sent to jail. Police say that Preetam Singh, victim in Preetam’s second marriage eight month ago, and his intention to take his son (the accused), from the property and transfer it into his new wife’s name were the reasons behind the murder.
The victim’s first wife died three years earlier.
Dharamveer Singh (Bijnor Superintendent of Police) told reporters that Kailash Singh was afraid his father would take away his share in the property.Preetam was beaten to death by him using an iron tool.
He then filed a police complaint against Bachhali Devi, his stepmother.
According to the SP, Preetam’s head was covered in injuries and found in his room.
The killers were identified as Kailash, his brother in law Sandeep Kumar, and Sudhansu.
Kailash first killed his father, then framed his stepmother to commit the crime in an attempt to get her behind bars.
