New Delhi, Nov 30, : .Battlegrounds Mobile India has been named the ‘Best Game’ of the year.
Garena Fire MAX was named the ‘Users Choice’ pick in 2021. Bitclass, a platform that allows interactive cohort-based learning, was named the ‘Best Android App’ of the year by Google Play.
This demonstrates the rise of a digital learning culture in India, which is fueled by innovative local solutions, the company stated in a statement.
“In India, once more, we saw a varied range of apps help people throughout the country with relevant –and often unique — solutions for their daily needs,” said Brett Bouchard (Global Head of Editorial, Google Play).
Clubhouse, an audio chat app, was named the best app of the year by users across the country.
Bouchard stated in a statement that “we saw a distinct rise in elearning this year, with many winners finding creative methods to help India learn a variety of skills online.
FWD and Hotstep were two other e-learning platforms that stood out this year.
According to Google Play India, health and well being were also important topics this year.
The winners included Jumping Minds and SARVA as well as Evolve, being and Evergreen Club.These innovations help people better manage their mental and physical well-being.
India continues to be a hot spot for gaming, with many Indians enjoying a variety of creative gaming experiences.
