Kyle Kumaran wins Sr National Rotax Karting title

Bengaluru, Nov 29, : Kyle Kumaran, a young racer, clinched the Senior Max title at the Meco FMSCI National Karting Championship Rotax Max 2021 at the Meco Kartopia Track.This was in wet conditions.
The 18-year old looked in great form and won all but one race to win his maiden national title.He also helped Peregrine Racing win Senior Category Team Championship.

Thiruchirapalli, a UAE-based driver, won all five final races and four of five pre-final races.Kyle, who won the Middle East and North Africa Nations Cup in DD2 category last week, also won driver of the Year and won other prizes for most wins and poles.

His teammate Suriyavarathan came second, while Ameya Bafna, the 2012 champion, was only third.

“This is my first Indian championship and I am happy we won it.We were consistent, and Peregrine Racing did an excellent job and supported us well.I look forward to the Rotax max world finals.

Kumaran said that it was a proud moment to wear India colours and race for Team INDIA.He is eagerly awaiting the Grand Finals in Bahrain.

MSport’s Ruhaan alva won the Senior title in X30.This was his maiden Rotax max national in this class.Abhay beat Rohaan Madesh to the second place, while the young Peregrine racing from Bengaluru was content with third.

Aditya Suresh kamat, Birel Art India’s Micro Max National champion, was elected.

Anuj A from MSport Madurai defeated Sheikh Arafath of Pune in a battle between the teammates.

Peregrine won Team title in Senior Max class.

MSport and Birel Art India were joint winners in the Junior Max, and Micro Max categories.All three Rotax Max Grand Finals champions have booked tickets to Bahrain, December 11-18.
