London, Nov 24, : , British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s personal ratings fell to a record low Wednesday, according to the Daily Mail. A Savanta ComRes poll found that the chaos is reaching voters.
The premier’s net favorability score dropped to minus 14.This was down from minus 9 last month and worse than the second coronavirus outbreak last autumn.
The research also showed Labour still holding the lead in overall support, even though the gap has narrowed from six to two points last week.
The results emerged as Conservatives tried bulldozed through the problems this afternoon, cheering Johnson to the rafters while he got up for the weekly Commons clashes.
After No10’s rambling address to business leaders Monday, where he claimed that the PM was ‘well’, and with claims that a dozen MPs had sent no-confidence letters the powerful 1922 committee, No10 was forced into insisting the PM was ‘well.
There are signs that tensions between Rishi Sunak and Johnson are on the verge of boiling over.
Treasury sources are blaming Mr Johnson for making ‘blowing’ announcements, including a massive PS96billion rail upgrade.
Senior Conservatives are furious at the self-inflicted setbacks they have suffered and demand that he hires experienced big beasts to improve his Downing Street team.
