After that .the details of the smart policing survey were revealed to CM Jagan.According to the Indian Police Foundation Smart Policing Survey, AP Policing has achieved the number one rank.The DGP said that the foundation, which conducted the survey across the country, conducted the survey online and offline in nine standard areas.
He said at a conference of DGPs in 2014 that smart policing practices were being followed as per the call of Prime Minister Modi.
The police foundation has been conducting the survey in the respective states for seven years.
The DGP explained that this year AP has achieved the first rank for the first time.The AP Police Department said that the IPFIPIPF would study the manner in which the police dealt with the public.
It is made up of retired DGs, IPS officers, IAS officers, IIT professors and civil society dignitaries.
He said that AP was ranked number one in the areas of impartiality, accountability and public trust towards citizens.
DGP Gautam Sawang said the best ranking was in the areas of sensitivity, police behavior, availability of police system and use of technology.
Law and Order Additional DG Ravishankar Ayyannar, Additional DG (Battalions) Shankabhrata Bagchi, DIG (Technical Services) Palaraju, Guntur Range DIG Trivikram Verma, Guntur Rural SP Vishal Gunny were present on the occasion.
