New Delhi, Nov 24, : , Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone brand, has maintained the No.1 position in India’s smartphone shipments for 16 consecutive quarters.
Xiaomi maintained its lead in India’s third quarter (Q3) this year, shipping 11.2 Million units for a 24% share.

According to the company’s third quarter 2021 report, it earned 40.9 billion Yuan from overseas markets, which accounts for 52.4 percent of its total revenue.

The company announced its Q3 results late Tuesday night, stating that “despite the global shortages of key components, Xiaomi strengthened its market position by optimising global marketplace resource allocation and reinforcing channels in accordance to local market conditions.”

According to Canalys Xiaomi’s market share in smartphone shipments during the third quarter was No.1 in 11 regions and No.5 in 59 regions and countries globally.

Despite the global shortage in key components, global smartphone shipments by the Group remained at 43.9 million in the third quarter 2021.

In the third quarter 2021, Xiaomi’s total revenues reached 78.1 billion Yuan.This represents an 8.2 percent increase year-over-year.
