Mumbai, Nov 24, : , Simple Kaul, an actress who plays the role of ‘Koel in the ongoing series ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na,’ has spoken out about the ongoing track that reflects domestic violence through her character. The actress shares her thoughts about the changes in ‘Koel’s life and the emotional turmoil that she is experiencing in the show.
She said that the latest episodes were a challenge because they show a completely new side to ‘Koel,’ and her life.This side of her was not something I was aware of at the beginning.
It came up later in the story so it was a new experience for me.
Simple continues: “The current track made it much more difficult for me to pay attention to something that was otherwise in the back of my head.” My focus was on understanding her toxic history and the emotions that went with it, then connecting those to her present and how they would be portrayed in the episodes.
She also reveals the show’s trajectory, which is about Koel’s terrifying past landing up in front her again as Abhay, her very controlling husband who comes with legal assistance this time for Nikhil (Nirbhay Thakur’s) custody.
“Her husband tracks her down at school and brings with him police and his legal team to secure custody of his son.She is worried about her son’s safety and has a lot of past trauma.She is at a crossroads.Either she finds strength to resist the violence for her son’s good or she succumbs to Abhay’s dominance, abuse.
