Geo News reported.
Judge commented that the facts in the case were “unlike anything I believe most of us have ever witnessed”.

The report stated that she had reached this conclusion after studying the shocking facts about the history of the Karachi-born spy.

Faridi’s “career”, which began with hustling in Karachi’s rough streets, evolved into major crimes and then turned to dangerous undercover operations for the American secret services.

In February 2020, he was caught by his handlers after threatening to kill three of his former colleagues: his FBI supervisor, an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force officer (JTTF) and his former FBI handler.

Faridi sent multiple death threats to his FBI handlers after his contract was abruptly canceled.

The court heard Faridi felt “betrayed” by FBI because Kelly, his wife, had just been diagnosed as having cancer.News of Faridi’s termination only made matters worse.

The US government also told the court that Faridi helped “enemies” of the US when he asked his wife for alerts to at least four to five suspects that they were being monitored.

The judge stated that Faridi had obstructed law enforcement’s work, and she agreed with that.

However, the judge said that Faridi’s work was of immense value to the US and that Faridi’s work was valuable source work.

The judge said that even if the US government gave it the back hand, I wouldn’t give it my hand.

Incredible work that has immense value over many decades, even in the most risky of circumstances. It is hard to overstate its value.

“The country received a tremendous benefit from the defendant, and while the damage he caused didn’t completely erase it, it did cause a great deal of harm.”

He was sent to prison for a seven year term.
