Chennai, Nov 24 : ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ contestant and actor Suresh Chakravarthy jokingly says he is one of scores of people waiting to have a go at YouTuber-turned-director ‘Blue Sattai’ Maran for his debut film ‘Anti-Indian’.The actor who played the role as a Tahsildar in this film joked that he thought the film would have a 100-day run at theatres.
This is because there are so many people waiting to lambast director Blue Sattai Maran when his film releases.Importantly, I am also one of them.
Blue Sattai Maran, a YouTube film critic, is well-known for his harsh reviews of Tamil films on YouTube.His reviews won him a lot of fans on the Internet, but it also earned him the wrath from filmmakers and professionals in the film industry.
It was interesting that Maran took up the direction of the film after some viewers asked.
Needless to mention, many industry professionals are eager for Maran to try his hand at medicine when his film Anti-Indian’ releases.
Actor Suresh Chakravarthy joked that he didn’t discuss his film’s pay with the director.He said that he asked for a salary so that he would wear a blue shirt to review the film on his YouTube channel.
It was only recently, that Bharathiraaja (one of the legends in the Tamil film industry) had also stated that he was waiting for a lighter review of ‘Blue Sattai Maran’s film.
