Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 24, : A principal of a private school was charged with sexual harassment of a Sitapur girl student. On Tuesday, the student’s family and local residents reached the private school to confront the principal about the alleged sexual exploitation of the girl.
They later handed the accused over to the police.

Mukesh Verma stated that Pramod Yadav was being held under the charges of harassment and the POCSO Act.
According to the SHO, the family claimed that the principal called the girl and tried to rape him in his bedroom.The principal was hit with a paperweight by the girl and the girl managed to flee.
The girl is a student in Class 6.
She told her story to her family members, who later turned over the accused to police.
