They asked them to launch the campaign in a positive tone, resolve differences, and get down to business. It was also requested by senior party leaders that the ticket decisions be made based on surveys and to encourage its members to contact their old colleagues.

According to reports, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation), B.L.Santhosh asked leaders to begin the campaign on a positive note, as opposition parties are more likely to benefit from negative campaigns.

Baijayant Jay Panda, BJP’s national vice-president and Delhi in charge has stated that the result of corporations polls will determine who gets a ticket.People who want tickets shouldn’t be doing “Ganesh Parikrama” (doing rounds with senior leaders), but rather work among the people.

Panda stated that the person people want with clean images and a winability factor, will be granted the ticket.

An office bearer of the party stated that Panda was emphatic in his message that the results from the surveys will determine the ticket price.

He said that Panda also recommended taking all the sections of society into consideration and that if this is done, no power could defeat us in either the ensuing corporate elections or next Assembly polls.

Panda said that the chariot can move forward if seven of its horses are moving in opposite directions.Only horses moving in the same direction can make the chariot move.

Sources said that the same applies to us.

Workers are asked to contact former office-bearers from the block up to the state levels of the party.
