Manoj Bajpayee draws inspiration from the Indian middle classes to create his characters

Panaji 23 Nov : .Actor Manoj Bajpayee said Monday that the Indian middle classes were a comical story and that it inspired all of his characters.
Manoj, who was participating in a virtual conversation session on ‘Creating Cult Icons – India’s own James Bond and The Family Man’ that took place on Monday at the 52nd International Film Festival of India (Goa), said that he has never attempted to make his characters bigger than life.

The gifted actor said, “I try to be real and make my character representative of the masses.” He added that he didn’t have to look Srikant Tiwari (my character in ‘The Family Man’) anywhere else.It was in me.In my family.

The actor, who stated that “The Family Man” was the story of an Indian middle-class man who tried to balance his demanding work and family life, said: “When Raj (and DK) came to me with the synopsis for ‘The Family Man 2″, I was completely sold to it.”

Raj Nidimoru, better known by Raj & DK as ‘The Family Man’, addressed the audience and stated that they were interested in a pan-Indian story.When we began ‘The Family Man,’ the greatest expression of freedom we felt was “Why should we restrict ourselves?” We reached out to actors, crew, and writers from other regions in order to break down the barriers and spread the story across India,” they said.

The session was also attended by actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Aparna Purohit (Amazon Prime India Originals) head.

Actor Ankur Pathak moderated the In-Conversation segment.

In the presence of Chaitanya Prasad, Festival Director, the session began with Apurva Chandra, Secretary of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting felicitating the panel.
