Sydney, November 20, 2018 : .Former Victorian wicketkeeper Darren Berry feels that Australia’s Test captaincy shouldn’t fall on Pat Cummins.
This is after regular skipper Tim Paine resigned in the aftermath of Friday’s sexting scandal. Berry stated that there weren’t many options except for Cummins.
However, the Ashes series will begin at the Gabba in December 8.Cricket Australia (CA), could consider other options as the series moves.

Berry stated, “I don’t like fast bowlers being captains.I’ve played under two and they’ve been okay.”
Berry felt, too, that the scandal aside, Paine should still be playing in Ashes Test if he is healthy, given the fact that Paine, 36, is Australia’s best wicketkeeper-batter.
Berry stated that the Australian captain had to resign due to the revelations.He is the most reliable wicketkeeper in Australia.
I would say that from the beginning, and if he is free, this is what I’d like to tell him.But he made terrible mistakes, which he will have to deal with.Although people may disagree with me, I still want to mention that if he is available I would choose him.
