Addis Ababa : , November 20, 2018 – The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that there have been 8,573,480 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Africa. According to Xinhua, Africa CDC (the specialized healthcare organization of the African Union) said that the number of deaths from pandemics across Africa stands at 221,408, Xinhua reported.
According to the agency, the disease has been treated by 8,001,845 people across Africa.
According to the agency, South Africa, Morocco and Tunisia are the top five countries in Africa with the highest number of cases.
According to the Africa CDC, the most severely affected area is southern Africa, with the eastern and northern parts following suit.Central Africa, however, is not affected by the disease.
