At a public meeting held under the leadership of Tehsildar Tejaswini, a group of youths from Lakkagodanahalli Thimmapuram village submitted a petition to the tehsildar saying, “We want to get married.but we can’t find girls.please find us brides yourself”.
A young man from a farming family from Thimmapura village handed over such an innovative petition to Tehsildar Tejaswini.It is noteworthy that these youths have also submitted such a petition to the Tumkur District Officer in the past.
However, in Tumkur district of Karnataka, many young people do not get married.One of the reasons for the decline in the number of girls is less.
