Telangana state government issued notification for intermediate first-year examinations.The examinations are scheduled to commence on October 25, 2021.
Telangana State Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy held a video conference with officials today on the conduct of inter-examinations.
However, today, a petition was filed in the Telangana High Court seeking the cancellation of Intermediate first-year examinations in the state.
The parents’ association has filed the petition in the high court.The petition was filed by Telangana High Court Advocate Rapolu Bhaskar on behalf of the Parents Association.
The Telangana state govt decided to conduct intermediate first-year examinations for students who are currently in the intermediate second year.No examinations were conducted for inter first-year students in the last year in the wake of the corona.
With this, it has been decided to conduct inter-first year examinations this month.
Speaking in a video conference, Minister Sabitha Indrareddy said that students who were previously promoted due to corona should undergo board examinations now.She said that over four lakh and fifty thousand students are going to write the examinations.The minister said the test centres were increased to 1750 in the wake of the corona.
About 25,000 invigilators are participating, and an isolation room is being set up at every test centre.
