Former minister and senior politician in Telangana Motkupalli Narsimhulu, who has been politically inactive for some time, is all set to join the TRS party at 2 pm.
Motkupalli Narasimhulu will be joining the TRS party today at Pragathi Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister KCR.Speculations are rife in Telangana politics that CM KCR would appoint Motkupalli Narasimhulu as the Dalitbandhu Chairman after he joins the TRS party.However, sources in Telangana Bhavan said that the CM was planning to send Motkupalli Narasimhulu to Lok Sabha as he is a senior Dalit leader.
According to the information from the sources, Motkupalli will explain to the people the welfare schemes being implemented by the TRS government for the welfare of the Dalits along with the ambitious Dalit Bandhu scheme being implemented by the state government.
However, Motkupalli Narasimhulu has won six times as an MLA and served as a minister in joint Andhra Pradesh.
Motkupalli Narasimhulu, who played a key role in the TDP in the Telangana region, remained in the party for a long time even after the emergence of Telangana as a separate state.
