Energy Secretary Nagulapalli Srikanth said that the campaign against power cuts in the state was not true.He said there was no situation of imposing power cuts in the state.

This shows that there is no power crisis in the state.

Also, despite the shortage of coal, conventional electricity seems to be available along with hydropower.The Department of Energy has condemned the misrepresentation on social media that there will be particular hours of power cuts in villages, municipalities and cities after the Dussehra festival.

“Even during this crisis, state power companies are working tirelessly to provide quality supply and electricity to consumers,” he said.
