AP govt to introduce land registeration services in 51 Village Secretariats in Nov

The Andhra Pradesh state government led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy government has taken another sensational decision.The property registrations in AP, which were done only at the registration offices to date, will now be done at the village and ward secretariats.

Registrations can be done from anywhere under the Anywhere Registration Policy at every Sub-Registrar’s office in the State except Srikakulam District.

The state government will bring property registrations under the village and ward secretariats purview to strengthen the village and ward secretariat system, which was ambitiously started by CM Jagan.

While a lot of work related to the Revenue Department is already being done in these secretariats, efforts will be soon made to make property registrations here, too.

The property registrations will soon start in 51 village and ward secretariats in the state by next month.The officials are training the Secretariat Panchayat Secretary, Digital Assistant and other staff on the property registration process.

The state government is looking into the possibility of starting property registrations in the village and ward secretariats where land re-survey will take place in the third week of November.

The state govt will take steps to implement the ‘Anywhere Registration’ policy in the secretariats.
