CM KCR to leave for Delhi today on a 3-day visit

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will leave for Delhi today.The Union Home Ministry called on for a meeting with the chief ministers of Maoist-affected states on the 26th of this month in Hastinapur.

After attending the assembly meeting on Friday, CM KCR will leave for Delhi on a special flight from Begumpet airport for this meeting.

The meeting will be chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on Sunday (26) at 11 am to review the security and development work in the Maoist-affected states during the Maoist Week celebrations.

Chief ministers of Telangana, AP, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are likely to attend the meeting.

As part of the visit, CM KCR will hold a meeting with Union Water Energy Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on September 25 on Krishna and Godavari river waters.

The CM will return to Hyderabad in the evening on September 26.

CM KCR will leave for Delhi after the first day of the monsoon Assembly sessions.The Telangana monsoon session starts today.This is going to be CM KCR’s second visit to Delhi within a month.
