On Monday, there is a drastic decline in the number of corona cases reported in AP.The Andhra Pradesh state medical health department announced that Andhra Pradesh reported 839 new positive Covid cases in the past 24 hours.
With this, the number of people infected with the virus in Andhra Pradesh has reached 20,39,529.In the last 24 hours, nine corona victims died while receiving treatment in various hospitals.
This brings the number of deaths due to the pandemic in the state to 14,078.
On the other hand, 1,142 people recovered from the corona in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total number of discharges in AP to 20,00,648.The total number of tests conducted in the state reached 2,77,63,761 as 42,679 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 14,412 people are being treated at various hospitals in AP.
Among the 13 districts, Chittoor district has the highest number of covid cases.Five covid victims died in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours.Two each in Guntur and Krishna districts and one each in Chittoor, East Godavari, West Godavari and Prakasam districts.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh state government has extended the night curfew again.
